About Kinedana Alpaca Stud
Our Background
Kinedana Alpaca Stud was established in Feb. 1992 with five female and one male Chilean alpaca. In those heady alpaca days of the mid nineties we made the decision in 1996, to invest for the future, with the importation of ten pregnant female alpacas from Peru. These alpaca had superior genetics and White/light fawn in colour which we knew would be the preferred commercial colour for the future. We have continued breeding with exceptional Peruvian males to the present.

In 2002 we invested in a half share in E.P. Cambridge Spartacus which was a male that cemented our fine white herd for the future. Spartacus was a sire of champion show winners and offspring that have sold for record prices world wide. All of our breeding females have Spartacus in their background.
